Islamabad April 26 (TNS): Following the Islamabad High Court’s verdict of life time disqualification of foreign minister Khawaja Asif over “Iqama” the Pakistan Tehreek Insaaf has all set to disqualify another Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz leader from the court.
According to media reports, the PTI leader and renowned singer Abrar ul Haq has announced on Thursday to file a petition for disqualification of Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal with the Islamabad high Court.
The PTI leader alleged the Ahsan Iqbal of holding a residence permit (Iqama) that a Saudi company issued to him.
The PTI leader’s decision comes hours after the Islamabad High Court disqualified Khawaja Asif. The wave of disqualifications of PML-N leaders began with former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif over Iqama in 2017.
