LAHORE May 4 (TNS): Pakistan Rangers while showing a spirit of goodwill, handed over an Indian citizen to Indian Border Security Force officials at Wagah
Jitendar Arjun Wahra was arrested by the authorities while entering to Pakistan after crossing the Rajasthan border in 2011.
His imprisonment period of punishment was completed in 2014 but India refused to accept him as his national for seven years. However, a few months back India confirmed Jitendar as it’s national.
His documents were then completed, and he was brought to Lahore from Karachi by air.

Then Jitendar was handed over to BSF at Wagah border after conducting the due legal process.
It has been told that Jitendar was a Thalassaemia patient and was provided all the medical facilities in Pakistan.
During Jitendar’s expressed his gratitude to the Pakistani Forces for the care he had been given by them.
