New Delhi, May 08 (TNS): Pakistani civil prisoner released by Indian authorities after 23 years, on Tuesday was repatriated to Pakistan through Attari-Wagha border confirmed Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), ANI reported.
Syed Sajid Ali Bukhari was arrested in 1995 and was lodged in Srinagar jail and his national status was confirmed in 2006.
Bukhari was facing charges under Sec 302 and 307 Ranbir Penal Code (RPC) and Sec 3 and 25 of the Arms Act.
Jammu and Kashmir State Ranbir Penal Code or RPC is a criminal code applicable in Jammu and Kashmir.
