ISLAMABAD, May 10 (TNS): The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Wednesday directed the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad to recover two girls, who had disappeared a couple of years ago, till May 16.
Justice Shaukat Aziz Saddiqui of the IHC heard the case filed by the parents of the girls Samia and Adeeba seeking their recovery.
IGP Islamabad Sultan Azam Temuri appeared before the court in person in compliance of the court orders.
During the course of proceedings, the IGP informed the court that the police were making painstaking efforts to recover the girls. The police had traced a phone number that was helping in the investigation process, he added. The court directed the IGP to produce girls after recovering them before the the month of Ramazan and adjourned the case till May 16.
