According to Anadolu Agency, in the Aegean Izmir province, a total of 263 undocumented migrants were held, while Coastguard teams found 103 undocumented migrants off the coasts of the Dikili district, the security sources told on condition of anonymity.

In the Cesme district, 59 undocumented Syrian migrants — including women and children — were among those on the boat migrants were held by coastguards while 101 undocumented Syrian migrants arrested in the Karaburun district.
