KARACHI May 10 (TNS): At least three gang war accused, were reportedly killed in an encounter with police in Lyari, Karachi on late Wednesday night.
According to details, police had launched a search operation in Kalakot area of Lyari following an attack in which at least three persons were injured. The injured were identified as members of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) office in the area while the attackers were identified as gang-war fighters.
On seeing police, the gang war members opened indiscriminate fire at the law enforcement agency in response Police started a firing, as a result, three gang war accused were killed.
According to Senior Superintendent Police City, the identities of the dead accused were not yet known. He also informed that hand grenade and arms were recovered from the dead accused.
