Srinagar, May 11 (TNS): An Indian policeman killed in a freedom fighters’ attack that took place in occupied Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam district earlier on Friday.
According to Indian media reports a Constable was reported injured when freedom fighters opened fire at a guard post in Wadwan village in occupied valley.
The cop was moved to the nearest hospital but succumbed to injuries.
Indian Security forces have cordoned off the area, more details are awaited.
Meanwhile, Kashmir’s Soi bug area in Budgam saw massive clashes on Friday where a youth was hit by a bullet in his leg. The victim has been moved to the nearest hospital.
Last Sunday, five civilians were martyred in the clashes that broke out between civilians and Indian security forces in parts of occupied Jammu and Kashmir following the so-called encounter.
