RAWALPINDI, May 15 (TNS): Regional Police Officer (RPO) Wisal Fakhar Sultan Raja on Monday reviewed the security arrangements for the holy month of ramadan ul Mubarrak, informed police spokesman.
The meeting was attended by City Police Officer (CPO) Afzaal Ahmed Kausar, SSP Operations Muhammad Bin Ashraf, SP Potohar Syed Ali and DPOs of Jhelum, Attock and Chakwal.
Chairing the meeting, he said additional policemen had been deployed to provide security to the worshippers, adding the security of Ramadan Bazaars would be ensured.
RPO Wisal Fakhar Sultan Raja directed the police officials to enhance patrolling at night to curb the crime. He said strict action would be taken against those who were found guilty in performing their duties. He also directed the wardens to perform their duties dedicatedly to maintain traffic flow in the city and avoid misbehaving with the motorists.
