Heatwave: Temperature in Karachi soared to 42°C on Sunday

Karachi, May 20 (TNS): Temperature in Karachi soared to 42°C on Sunday afternoon as sea winds were also halted in the metropolis.

Met Office has forecasted hotter weather in Karachi and other parts of Sindh during four to five days.

According to country’s weather monitoring authority, the heatwave will hit the metropolis and interior Sindh from Monday to Wednesday, drastically pushing the temperatures even higher.

Met office warned that temperatures in most parts of the province expected to be reaching up to 50°C during next few days.

Temperature can be mounted to extreme hot in Sindh’s Larkana, Nawabshah, Jacobabad and Dadu districts and Balochistan’s Sibi and other areas, Met office warned.
