Peshawar, May 23 (TNS): The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) government has decided not to announce the provincial budget of year 2018-19.
The decision was taken by the provincial government when they found no support from the opposition parties in the KPK assembly, confirmed spokesperson of KPK chief minister Pervaiz Khattak.

However, the government sources suggest that, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) who boast around 42 MPAs in the provincial assembly and do not hold the majority after their coalition ended with Jamaat-e-Islami last month, was a significant reason not to present the budget
According to reports, a caretaker provincial government will announce a four-month Budget.
All the other three provinces have announced the budget of the fiscal year, Sindh announced its budget on May 10, whereas Punjab and Balochistan both presented their respective budgets on May 14.
