RAWALPINDI, May 25 (TNS): The Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) Food Department in its ongoing drive to provide citizens hygienic food disposed-off 120 liter sub-standard milk here on Friday.
The RCB food department spokesman told media that during checking in Hafiz Abad, Westridge area the teams found sub-standard milk in two shops including Gondal Milk shop and Medina milk shop and disposed off 120 liter milk in the presence of RCB officials.
The teams also issued notices to 10 shopkeepers to improve cleanliness.
He said that strict action is being taken against the violators to ensure the provision of hygienic food to the people.
