ISLAMABAD, May 25 (TNS): Disgruntled leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chaudhry Nisar said that it is likely Parliamentary Committee to take final decision over caretaker setup.
Speaking informally to media persons here, Nisar predicted that former Chief Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani could be appointed as the caretaker Prime Minister.
“There is no doubt that the matter of the caretaker setup will be considered by the parliamentary committee. Tassaduq Hussain Jillani will most likely be appointed as caretaker PM,” former interior minister said.
When asked whether he sees Imran Khan as next prime minister of Pakistan, Nisar said: “I don’t know”.
The disgruntled leader of PML-N added that it is not necessary that those political leaders who have abandoned their mother parties to join Imran Khan’s camp can win in upcoming polls.
Nisar told journalists that he will contest forthcoming general polls from four different constituencies.
