PML-N govt leave country on a positive note: says Info minister

Islamabad, May 31 (TNS): Minister of Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb says the PML-N government, on completion of its term, is leaving the country on a positive note with progress taking place in every sector, state-run media reported.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Thursday, she said the country was facing turmoil in various areas in 2013; however today, the indicators are showing overall improvement in every field.

The Minister said Pakistan always progressed during the tenure of democratic governments as democracy is the only solution to the country’s problems.

She said a comparison between democratic governments and dictatorial regimes can make facts about it clear.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said the government has delivered in energy, economy, infrastructure, health, education, security, foreign policy, road network, railways, information technology, and culture.
