ISLAMABAD, June 02 (TNS): A poor and downtrodden family of Bhaika Syedan area of the Capital city is reported to have been made to face ordeal in a strive to nab the killers of its 20 year old female member.

According to the details by TNS special correspondent the girl, Fouzia the youngest child of a poor family living in a mud house in Bhaika Syedan in the suburbs of F11/4, was providing domestic service in a flat in Abu Dehbi Tower at F/11 Markaz to help her family to meet both the ends.

On a rainy morning of 14th March she left for the job but vanished in the middle. When her lord, the flat owner, called her mother to ask why she didn’t come to the job, the family got suspicious and stared search which ended at 9: PM when her dead body was found in a house just a furlong away from their residence.

The body of Fouzia was lying on a bed with a rope wrapped around her neck and tied with the bed.

According to the report one, Assad Parvez along with his wife Asmat Bibi besides a nearby bakery worker Arshad has been residing on rent in the house but found absconding from the same day.

Police affiliated with Shalimar Police Station did lodge the FIR but started sucking the family like a maggot in the name of chasing and arresting the culprits.

Brother of the murdered girl, Bashir Ahmad has told TNS that Investigating Officer Inspector Ryaz Gondal not only has taken Rs 25000 in two installments from them but also made them twice to serve him along with his five other uniformed men food worth thousands, at Orient Hotel F/10 Markaz. Not only this, the bereaved poor family was compelled to rent vehicles and fill the fuel tanks of police vehicles in order to chase and arrest the absconding suspected.

Arshad, who confessed that he along with Assad and his wife murdered Fouzia, was arrested from Murree while Assad was nabbed from Jhang after one and a half month but to the utter shock for the family the culprit with the “HELP” of a police officer, Sub Inspector Meher Nusrat, was not only provided a special treatment during police remand but also bailed out just after three months.

The ordeal for the family didn’t end here as the doctors at PIMS also tried to make something out by exploiting the desperation and helplessness of the family as one of the doctors at the institute demanded Rs 80000 for the issuance of DNA report.

According to Bashir, they have spent over Rs 150 thousand borrowed money so far but still, they don’t see any light of justice at the end of the tunnel of cruelty and exploitation.

Inspector Gondal, when contacted by TNS, has said that Fouzia had been friends with Assad and on a fateful day she was there having tea with him and his wife during which Assad had a scuffle with his wife and in the height of anger he strangulated Fouzia to death.
