Islamabad, June 8 (TNS): Election Commission of Pakistan has revised various stages of election programme for general election scheduled for 25th of next month.
According to the revised schedule, the candidates now can file their nomination papers by Monday whilst the preliminary list of the nominated candidates will also be issued on the same day.
9th June has been fixed last date for scrutiny of nomination papers by the returning officers.
22nd June has been set last date for filing of appeals against decisions of the returning officers rejecting or acceptance of nomination papers.
Last date for deciding of appeals by appellate tribunals is 27th whilst the revised list of candidates will be published on 28th of this month.
Last date for withdrawal of candidature and publication of final list is 29th of this month.
