Pakistan and Iran join hands to further bolster their economic relations

China, June 9(TNS): In a meeting between President Mamnoon Hussain and his Iran counterpart Hassan Rouhani on Saturday, Pakistan and China agreed to further strengthen their economic relations.

The understanding came at a meeting between the two Presidents in Qingdao, China.

To attend the SCO summit both the presidents are currently present in China.

President Mamoon Hussain said that Pakistan and Iran enjoy warm and friendly relations and always back each other on significant matters of regional and International concern.

President Mamnoon Hussain said Pak-Iran relations will further bolster once connectivity between Gwadar and Chabahar ports takes place, which will give economic stability to both countries.

Iranian Supreme leader’s statement in support of Kashmiri people was appreciated by the president and he welcomed his spirit for the Muslims of Kashmir who are under the oppression and atrocity of Indian army. The two leaders also discussed matters pertaining to regional and international significance.
