PCB will not allow players with central contracts to take part in UAE T-20 league

Lahore, June 13(TNS): Pakistan Cricket Board has announced on Wednesday that players who have central contracts will not be allowed to play in T-20 leagues taking place in the United Arab Emirates.

PCB has shown concerns and resistance on the matter of U.A.E introducing their own league in the arab gulf and recently Afghanistan has also confirmed that they will launch their T-20 league in U.A.E.

Following the PSL governing council meeting PCB issued a statement The Governing Council expressed its concerns over a newly-announced T20 league taking place in the UAE. It was decided that the PCB will not allow any contracted players to take part in any T20 league taking place in the UAE other than Pakistan Super League (PSL)”

It was decided in the high profile meeting between franchises of PSL and PCB that  full efforts will be made to bring PSL back to Pakistan next season and a statement indicated that at least 8 matches will be played at the home of PSL.

5 of the six franchises have already cleared their dues, the PCB officials confirmed.
