Islamabad, June 13 (TNS): One hundred million trees will be planted in country during the upcoming monsoon season starting from Friday, state-run media reported.
According to Radio-Pakistan report, thr Prime Minister’s five-year Green Pakistan Programme has been launched as a national cause and as a part of efforts to protect the country and its people from devastating impacts of climate change include floods.
Forests are the effective way to boost the country’s climate change resilience against negative fallouts of the climate change.
