ISLAMABAD, June 14 (TNS): Lt (Retd.) Jan Muhammad has been appointed as IGP Islamabad.
According to a notification issued by the Establishment Division, Lt (Retd) Jan Muhammad, BS-20 officer of Police Service of Pakistan, presently serving in National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA), has been transferred and posted as Inspector General, Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police, under the Interior Division.
Jan Muhammad has been posted as the IGP in his own pay and scale, with immediate effect and until further orders.
