KARACHI, June 20 (TNS): Karachi police claimed to recover huge cache of arms and explosive from Mominabad graveyard.
The Mominabad police recovered explosive material including 648 grams bottle bomb, IED weighing 2456 grams carrying ball bearings and pellets and other material in raid at Mominabad graveyard near Zeeshan chowk.
This was said by SSP district West Omer Shahid Hamid while addressing a press conference here.
He said that six detonators, remote control along with circuit and antenna, remote with 9-volts battery, 20 to 25 meters detonating wires, dynamite around 6302 grams and gun pouch were seized during the raid led by the police team under supervision of SHO Mominabad Shoaib Qureshi.
The police has lodged a case against unknown accused and launched investigation, he said.
