Ace boxer Amir Khan launches Super Boxing League in Pakistan

Karachi, June 21 (TNS): The Inauguration of the Pakistan Boxing Super League was conducted on Thursday by British-Pakistani ace boxer Amir Khan who is the core-owner of the league.

“It is a privilege for me to launch this Boxing league which will unearth raw talent from the country” said the British based Boxer.

The jubilated star boxer said that this is a start of new era in the field of boxing in Pakistan and hoped that this league will produce future stars.

“Super Boxing League-Pakistan” will be held in December with franchised-based teams participating in the league.

“There will be eight teams and each team will comprise eight boxers,” Amir said.

The participating teams include Multan Thunders, Faisalabad Falcons, Islamabad Kings, Peshawar Warriors, Lahore Giants, Quetta Stars, Sialkot United and Karachi Devils.
