Islamabad, June 23 (TNS): Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar on Saturday has directed the judges at district courts to decide cases expeditiously in accordance with law.
During the visit to District courts in Larkana, he directed that lawyers should also appear in cases with punctuality and should avoid undue adjournments of cases so that justice does not derail.
The Chief Justice of Pakistan listened to the complaints of the people whose relatives were still missing it they were deprived of justice for a long time.
After taking notice of this issue, the Chief Justice has summoned DG Rangers Sindh, provincial inspector general of police, and provincial heads of IB, ISI, and MI at Supreme Court Karachi Registry tomorrow.
The Chief Justice also paid visit to the Government hospital in Sukkur and Sheikh Zayed Women’s Hospital where he met the patients and listened to their complaints.
He expressed disappointment on the hospital’s administrative performance and directed them to improve the hygiene of the hospitals.
