Lahore, June 25(TNS): In wake of upcoming general elections, the IGP Punjab Lahore issued a notification on Monday which advised the competent authorities to shift Moharrar of all police stations across the province.
According to a memorandum issued by the office of the Provincial Police Officer, transfers and postings of Moharrars should be made outside the residential circle.
“The competent authority has been directed that Moharrar of all police stations should be shifted forthwith. It may be ensured that Moharrar would not be posted in his residential circle”, said the notification.
The notification further added, Proposal may be provided today on HRMIS for seeking the approval from Chief Election Commission of Pakistan.
