Manchester United’s former winger Adnan Januzaj broke the dead-lock in the 51st minute with a lovely curled shot from the edge of the 22 yard box.
Belgium then looked comfortable throughout the game however Marcus Rashford did have a golden chance when he was played one on one by Jamie Vardy but failed to capitalize as Belgium keeper Thibaut Courtois made a splendid finger-tip save to deny him.
Belgium have finished top of the group G and will now take on Japan who went through only on the basis of fair-play rules.
England, however will face a tougher challenge in the Round of 16 as they will face James Rodriguez and company when they will lock horns with Colombia on 1st July.
