ISLAMABAD, June 29 (TNS): Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has sought attention of interim Prime Minister Nasir ul Mulk towards misuse of official position by Director General FIA Mr. Bashir Memon for facilitating his brother in his election campaign.
A letter dispatched by party’s central election cell, a copy of which is with TNS, has said that the said high rank officer is using his official position illegally, unlawfully and immorally and without any justification by facilitating his brother Naseer Memon who is a candidate for PS-58 Matiari Sindh from Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA)
The letter reminds PM his commitment by issuing directives to ensure free, fair and transparent elections.
The letter apprises caretaker prime minister about the said DG FIA for being involved in rigging in 2013 elections and in connection of which an FIR was lodged with police station Hala of District Matiari against his brother .
PPP has demanded interim PM to take serous action against Bashir Memon by transferring him and making sure that elections are fairly and smoothly conducted.
