Pakistan Army rescues two foreign mountaineers

Rawalpindi, July 1 (TNS): The Pakistan Army on Sunday rescued two foreign mountaineers and recovered the body of another mountaineer stuck in a snow avalanche at the Ultar Sar Peak near Hunza, says a press release issued by the ISPR.

Bruce Normand and Miller Timothy from UK successfully were rescued alive while an Austrian mountaineer Christian Huber succumbed to his injuries in the avalanche, Major General Asif Ghafoor Bajwa said in a tweet.

Christian Huber was killed while the two others injured after their tent was hit by an avalanche at Ultar Sar mountain in northern Hunza valley.
