New wave of terrorism rocks country as 7 killed, 35 wounded in second blast on Friday

Quetta, July 13 (TNS): In new wave of terrorism, another election campaign targeted by terrorists as second blast on Friday killed at least 7 people while more than 35 sustain injuries in Balochistan’s Mastung district.

Terrorists targeted election rally of Balochistan Awami Party (BNP) leader Nawabzada Siraj Raisani, who also critically injured in blast.

Siraj Raisani, a younger brother of former Balochistan chief minister  Aslam Raisai, was all set to address a public rally when terrorists targeted gathering at Dareengarh area of Mastung.

Siraj Raisani  leader of Balochistan Awami Party (BNP) is contesting upcoming general election from PB-35.

Deputy Commissioner Mastung confirmed that at least seven people were killed and  35 others wounded in blast.

Hekicopters have been dispatched from Quetta to the area to airlift the  injured to the provincial capital.

Earlier in the day, Akram Durani convey was targeted in KP’s Bannu district, four killed and 39 wounded in roadside planted explosion.
