Interim federal Gov’t announces one day mourning over deadly terrorist attacks in Peshawar, Bannu, Mastung

ISLAMABAD, July 14 (TNS):  Interim federal Gov’t on Saturday has announced one day mourning over the series of deadly suicidal terrorist attacks on election rallies in Peshawar, Bannu and Mastung Balochistan carried out on 10th and 13th of July in which 150 people including two candidates lost their lives and 216 others sustained injuries.

On the night of Tuesday 10th July at least 15 people, including Awami National Party (ANP) leader Barrister Haroon Bilour, embraced martyrdom and 66 others were injured after a suicide bomber targeted a party rally in the Yakatoot area of Peshawar.

Then only two days later e’g in the morning Friday 13th July four people were killed and over a dozen others injured when a bomb went off near an election rally of  Akram Khan Durrani,  a Muttahida Majlis Amal candidate (MMA) in Bannu.

Later on the same day fateful day terrorists struck again in a big way and wreaked havoc by targeting on a political rally of Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) leader Nawabzada Siraj Raisani, killing him along with 131 party activists and inflicting injuries to 125

Interior ministry on Saturday issued a notification and called for one day mourning over the killings on 15th July across the country.
