QUETTA, July 14 (TNS): Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa will attend the funeral prayers of Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) candidate Nawabzada Siraj Raisani today who lost the battle of his life in the Mastung suicide attack on Friday.
COAS General Bajwa is also expected to visit the injured of the blast being treated at CMH in Quetta.
Funeral prayers for Raisani, a candidate of the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) will be held later today.
The Mustang attack was one of the bloodiest in Pakistan’s history and the fourth attack in the last seven days targeting election candidates.
The interim government has announced one-day mourning nationwide on Sunday, while the Balochistan government announced two-days of mourning in the province following the attack.
