London, July 15 (TNS): British boxer of Pakistani descent Amir Khan has announced a donation of one million rupees for dam fund.
The announcement was made in a video message of the renowned pugilist.
The Supreme Court of Pakistan has encouraged the masses to contribute financially to the construction of the Diamer-Bhasha and Mohmand dams through text message from cellphones.
“People can donate Rs.10 ($0.082) to the Supreme Court of Pakistan Diamer Basha and Mohmand Dam Fund by sending an SMS from mobile phones to 8000,” the Supreme Court of Pakistan, said in statement on Friday.
