Lahore,July 28 (TNS): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) former general secretary Punjab Dr Yasmin Rashid is among the favourites to become the next Chief Minister of Punjab, according to sources.
The former general secretary Punjab met party chief Imran Khan in Islamabad on Saturday.
Campaign on social media has also been launched for Yasmin Rashid,as she has emerged a strong candidate for Punjab Chief Minister (CM) and majority of PTI members support her for the post.
Khan had called Yasmin Rashid at his residence Bani Gala in Islamabad where a one-to-one meeting was held between both of them.
Talks were held over government affairs after party win in the general elections 2018.
Yasmin Rashid also presented a report of her constituency NA-125 where she lost to Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) candidate Waheed Alam Khan.
