BANNU, July 28 (TNS) : In another incident of animal abuse, a dog wrapped in a PTI flag was shot dead on Saturday by two men who were later arrested by the KP police.
The incident occurred due to political rivalry in the country, later Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police took to Twitter and said, “Police worked throughout the night to arrest two culprits involved in torturing and killing the animal and making a video of it.”
The police also shared a video in which one of the culprit confessed about the heinous act he committed.
The two men had wrapped a dog in a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) flag and shot him multiple times.
The brutal act was captured on video which went viral on social media and caused outrage among users.
The horrifying video uploaded on Friday night began with a dog sitting in the sand and wrapped in a PTI flag.
The video showed the dog being shot mercilessly three times. The video ended, as the dog howled and trembled in pain.
Right after the incident outrage on social media erupted and several took to social media to demand that animal protection laws be implemented and a FIR be registered.
