Massive corruption over allotting contracts surfaces in OGDCL

Islamabad, August 1 (TNS): The gigantic scam over allotting contracts unearthed in Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL).
TNS has learnt that the OGDCL officers have allotted contracts worth millions rupees illegally to a private company Shalvazan Movers Packers and logistic after alleged connivance with company officials which caused millions loss to national exchequer.
TNS has learnt through an authentic source that that the private company holding fake documents has registered himself with OGDCL by giving bribe to the OGDCL officials on fake documents.

The alleged company’s owner Zia -ud-din a retired bureaucratic along with his two sons Fawad and Ali obtaining contracts from OGDCL after giving huge amount to OGDCL General Manager Rafiq Mughal and his staff causing lost to national kitty.
In this regard When TNS has contacted with the alleged company director Ali Zia he said that all the allegations made are baseless and we have proper documents and we are working legally.

TNS has contacted many time to OGDCL General Manager Rafiq Mughal and other officials but they did not give any response.
Meanwhile, National Accountability Bureau has been moved to probe into the mega scam.
Applicant Mohsin Raza, in his petition, requested prime anti-graft watchdog to investigate the matter which caused huge loss to national kitty.
