Islamabad, August 7 (TNS): Newly elected members of national and provincial assemblies of will be issued victory notifications on Tuesday by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
According to sources, a summary of issuing victory notifications to successful candidates has been sent to the chief election commissioner.
On the other hand, notifications of candidates in constituencies that have been challenged in courts will not be issued.
Notifications to successful candidates from more than 30 constituencies have been withheld.
Elections were delayed on two seats of the National Assembly and six of provincial assemblies.
Elections for these seats will be held within 60 days after newly-elected members of the national and provincial assemblies take oath.
After the successful candidates are notified, their independent counterparts will have three days to join a party.
