Senator Rehman Malik strongly condemns terror attacks in Quetta on polling day

Islamabad, August 8 (TNS):  Chairman of Senate standing committee on Interior, Senator Rehman Malik on Wednesday chaired the meeting of senate standing committee in Parliament house.

In the meeting Senator Rehman Malik strongly condemned the terrorist attacks in Quetta and other cities on polling day and paid his respects to the martyrs on the day.

The issue of suspicious deaths of three sisters in Cholistan was also a talking point in the committee’s meeting.

The dead bodies of the three sisters were found in a desert of Cholistan and the post-mortem report suggested that they were sexually assaulted by the murderers.

Senator Rehman Malik said in the committee that that Punjab Police is showing unprofessionalism in this case and are providing a safe exit route to the culprits by hiding the real facts in the investigation.

The PPP Senator further added that the Punjab Police tried to bury the incident once and for all by giving money to the parents of the victims.

‘We will raise our voice just like we did in Zainab’s case and this incident will not be hushed, we will raise it on every forum and the culprits will be subjected and answerable to the law” , he said.
