Rawalpindi August 09 (TNS): In a major development, Accountability Court Rawalpindi on Thursday refused to hear fabricated reference against newly elected members of Committee of Ministry of Commerce Employees Cooperative Housing Society (MOCECHS) and ordered NAB Prosecutor to shift the case to Islamabad court.
Four out of six arrested members of MOCECHS body have been produced before Rawalpindi’s Accountability Court by the anti-graft watchdog for unjustified reference over fabricated charges of corruption levelled by corrupt officials in NAB with nexus of land mafia.

The counsel of accused Ahtasham ul Haq Advocate told the court that the current fabricated reference against newly elected members of MOCECHS based on prejudice aiming to take over the Housing Society.
The counsel further said that the accused have been granted bails by the Islamabad High Court.
He told the court that corrupt officials within ranks of NAB with nexus of land mafia have filed fabricated reference and other sub-references and all these references have been filed in Islamabad while hearing of these references should have also been followed in Islamabad instead of in Rawalpindi which proved their preconception.
The counsel told the court that one arrested member Chaudhry Arshad suffered heart attack in custody NAB while another accused Khushdil Khan is also being tortured by NAB investigation officers.
Rawalpindi’s Accountability Court judge Shakeel Ahmad expressed his anger and asked NAB prosecutor and investigation officer Mubashirr Karim six times but they failed to convey satisfactory reply.
Accountability court judge Shakeel Ahmad while giving his remarks said that dishonesty of NAB prosecutor and investigative officer in this reference has been proved.
The judge refused to hear the “fabricated” reference and ordered to shift the case to NAB’s accountability court in Islamabad.
On orders of Rawalpindi’s Accountability Court, the accused were produced before Accountability Court in Islamabad where one arrested member suffered heart attack.
Islamabad’s Accountability Court-2 judge Muhammad Arshad ordered authorities to shift the accused to hospital immediately.
