Ishaq Dar spotted roaming on streets of London again

London, August 11 (TNS): Pakistan’s ingenious Former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar was spotted roaming around on streets of the royal city of London on Saturday.

A Pakistani followed Dar and recorded his video while asking about his name. However, the ex-minister did not reveal his name to the stranger

The local asked Dar “What is your name?” when Dar ignored him and resumed his walk, the local said from behind “If you are ashamed of telling your name than you should not commit such deeds”.

Earlier, Ministry of Interior ordered to blacklist Dar and also directed to block the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader’s passport.

The former finance minister was declared an absconder in assets beyond means  caseand efforts were underway to bring him back to Pakistan through Interpol.

Supreme Court’s verdict of July 28, in which a five member bench had ordered disqualification of former supremo Nawaz Sharif and had filed a reference against Dar, on petitions filed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Imran Khan, Jamaat-i-Islami’s Sirajul Haq and Awami Muslim League’s Sheikh Rashid Ahmed.

NAB had alleged said in its reference against Dar that “the accused had acquired assets in his own name or in the name of his dependents of an approximate amount of Rs831.678 million which were way beyond his means of income.”.

The accountability court in November had declared ex-finance minister Ishaq Dar absconder and rejected the minister’s petition in which he sought immunity from hearing of assets beyond known sources of income reference.
