Rahimyar Khan, August 12 (TNS): A Newly born baby died due to negligence of a quack doctor during the delivery of a woman in Sadiqabad area in Rahimyar Khan district on Sunday.
The quack doctor was working in Doctor Azhar’s private clinic, who had recruited staff of unqualified doctors in his hospital.
The family of the newly born baby protested against Dr Azhar in front of Tehsil headquarters by burning tires in the vicinity.
The family holding play cards and banners against Dr. Azhar staged their protest and raised slogans as they demanded for justice.
“Doctor Azhar sent our patient from Tehsil Headquarters to his own private clinic, as there were no proper medical facilities in the hospital” , family claimed.
The family of the victim told the media, that the doctor had given permission to his unqualified staff to operate patients at his clinic and the unqualified doctors were appointed as fake MBBS degree holders.
“The Sadiqabad city police have filed an FIR against helper Shehnaz but they are not taking any action against the doctor”, said the infant’s grandfather.
