Islamabad, August 14 (TNS): Amid Independence day celebrations atleast three people were killed and 21 others sustained injuries in aerial firing and fireworks display in various cities across the country on Tuesday.
According to reports, casualties occurred in Five Star Chourangi area of Karachi, as a youth lost his life during fireworks display, while 11 other people were wounded.
Aerial firing claimed a life of a youth in Rawalpindi while eight other people were wounded in aerials firing in different areas of the city.
At least two people sustained injuries in aerial firing in Faisalabad on the occasion of Independence Day.
