ISLAMABAD, Aug 14 (TNS): National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) celebrated Independence Day with a traditional zeal and fervour.
A ceremony in this regard was held at Islamabad Murree toll plaza in which the special guest AIG NHMP north Gulam Rasool Zahid unfurled the national flag. A large number of people including the family members of the motorway police personnel participated in the ceremony.
AIG Zahid on the occasion distributed gifts among the commuters of Murree Expressway and also advised the participants to make it a habit and obligatory for themselves to adopt the safety measures during commuting.
Kids on the occasion presented national songs and received acknowledging gifts in return.
