Islamabad, August 18 (TNS): Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has been granted a new residence in Military Secretary’s house which is located right beside Prime Minister House, whereas the Military Secretary has been shifted to the Prime Minister’s house.
Imran Khan has clearly said in his speeches that he will not reside in the Prime Minister’s house as it will increase expenses on a nation which is already in debt.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan wanted to live in Minister’s Enclave, however due to security reasons he has been barred from living in the premises of the minister’s enclave.
He will now reside in the military Secretary’s House which occupies an area of around 4 canal.
The newly elected PM had been sworn in today after winning the election in the national assembly on Friday securing 176 votes.
