PTI’s Newly-elected Sindh Governor Imran Ismail pays a visit to Quaid’s Mausoleum in Karachi

Karachi, August 28 (TNS): Sindh’s newly elected Governor Imran Ismail has paid a visit to Quaid-e-Azam’s mausoleum in Karachi on Tuesday after his swearing in.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s senior leader of the Sindh chapter and newly elected governor offered Fatiha and also laid flowers over the grave of the founder of the nation.

Speaking to media, Imran Ismail assured to work for the development of the province with all the political parties. He said water is serious issue in Karachi as well as the entire province and a project will be started soon to counter this crisis.

Yesterday, the Chief Justice of Sindh High Court (SHC) Justice Ahmed Ali Shaikh had administered the oath to Imran Ismail as the 33rd Governor of Sindh.

The ceremony was held at Governor House and man dignitaries such as Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah and his cabinet members along with presidential candidate Dr. Arif Alvi, members of parliament, senior officials, diplomats and envoys from different countries were present on the occasion.
