ISLAMABAD, August 28 (TNS): The Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi congratulated Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan on assuming office.
In the meeting, matters pertaining to the Pakistan Navy and security situation in the country were discussed.
The country’s supremo Imran Khan said the navy’s efforts to protect the maritime boundaries of Pakistan are commendable without a doubt.
Earlier, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa also had a meeting with PM Imran.
The Army Chief General Bajwa felicitated Imran Khan on assuming office of the prime minister.
The two dignitaries expressed resolve to continue efforts for enduring peace and stability in the country and also exchanged views on the overall security situation in the region.
