Saudi Information minister arrives in Islamabad on official visit

ISLAMABAD: The information and culture minister of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr. Awwad bin Saleh Al-Awwad arrived in Pakistan on Friday as a part of his official visit.

Information minister Fawad Chaudhry received his Saudi counterpart at Islamabad airport.

The visit aimed to enhance cultural ties between to brotherly countries.

According to sources, the Saudi minister will meet Prime Minister Imran Khan in order to convey a special message of King Salman to him.

The Saudi delegation will comprise Ambassador Mohammed bin Nawwaf ul Maliki and the Adviser to the Information Minister.

Federal Minister of Information Fawad Chaudhry invited the Saudi officials to visit Pakistan with a purpose of seeking new ways to strengthen bilateral ties between two ally countries.

After July 25 polls, King Salman telephoned Imran Khan and felicitated him over his party’s victory in general elections.

King Salman also invited PM Khan to visit Saudi Arabia, which he accepted.
