Islamabad, Sept. 11 (TNS): Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmad has said that Pakistan fully backs China Pakistan Economic Corridor Project.
He was talking to a delegation of Chinese Railways officials in Islamabad on Tuesday.
Sheikh Rashid said that besides up gradation of Main Line-1 (ML-1), we also require Chinese assistance in other projects.
The Minister said a long term plan is also being prepared for the development of Pakistan Railways. He said we will soon launch two new trains to be inaugurated by the Prime Minister.
The Chinese delegation assured full cooperation for bringing improvement in Pakistan Railways.
