KARACHI, Oct. 26 (TNS): Deputy Commissioner (DC) West Shadia Jaffer carried out raids on illegal bachat bazars which were operating without required NOCs on Friday.
During the drive, encroachments on the roads, markets and other areas were removed.
The operations were led by DC west and removed as many as four bachat bazaars in SITE and Baldia.
DC-West Shadia Jaffer said no any kind of encroachments would be allowed in the district and strict legal action would be taken against people involved in such activities.
She also appealed to the traders community and residents of district West to cooperate with the authorities.
