Jakarta, Oct 29 (TNS): An Indonesian Lion Air Boeing 737 carrying 188 passengers and crew crashed into the sea off the Indonesian coast shortly after take-off from Jakarta on Monday.
Indonesian authorities confirming the crash said the ill-fated plane was on a scheduled flight from Jakarta to Pangkal Pinang, the main city in the Bangka Belitung Islands.
