Islamabad, Dec. 03 (TNS): Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has dispelled the misperception being created by opposition that National Accountability Bureau is targeting their leadership only.

Talking to a private news channel, he said the government has nothing to do with affairs of NAB. He said the ministers and advisers are also being summoned by the Bureau who also fully cooperate with it in investigations.

Fawad Chaudhry said the government wants to amend the laws relating to NAB only to make it more powerful and independent.

He said the government is also going to introduce a modern local bodies system in the country with focus on devolution of powers.

Replying to a question, he said due to the 18th Constitutional Amendment, the standard of education and health sectors has declined and the government wants to improve many of its clauses.
