Lahore, Dec. 19 (TNS): Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has directed to take action against sugar mills which have not yet started crushing.
In a statement, the Chief Minister said exploitation of rights of farmers will not be allowed.
He directed that rates of sugarcane will be ensured at the fixed price and sugar mills will be bound to buy sugarcane from the farmers’ at fixed rate.
Usman Buzdar said indiscriminate action will also be taken against complaints about less weight.
