NAB extended Aleem Khan’s physical remand till March 5

Lahore, Feb. 25 (TNS): An accountability court of Lahore has extended physical remand of former senior provincial minister Abdul Aleem Khan in assets beyond means case till 5th of next month.

Earlier, National Accountability Bureau produced Abdul Aleem Khan before Accountability Court Judge

Syed Najamul Hassan Bukhari on expiry of physical remand term.

The NAB prosecutor appraised the court about investigation progress and pleaded the court to extend physical remand.

However, defence counsel opposed the plea saying that no physical remand was required.

He submitted that all assets were declared in income tax returns and complete details have been provided to NAB officials.

The court, after hearing detailed arguments of the parties, extended physical remand of Aleem Khan till 5th of next month and directed to produce him again on expiry of the remand term.
